Refund, Return & Shipping Policy

1. Overview
At Dooth AI, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction. This policy outlines our refund, return, and shipping procedures for our products and services.
2. Credits
Credits are used during the card design and creation process. Each credit allows you to generate or update a card design using our AI technology. Credits are part of the card creation process and are used to design the card that will be printed.
Credit Purchase and Refund Policy:
- You receive 3 free credits when you sign up
- If you need more credits to create additional designs or refine your card, you can purchase additional credits at any time
- Credits purchased for card creation are non-refundable once used
- Unused credits may be eligible for refund within 7 days of purchase, subject to our review
- When you place an order for a printed card, credits used for that card are refunded up to a maximum of 3 credits per card
Important: Credits are used solely for the card design process - they are not a separate digital service, but part of creating the design for your printed greeting card.
3. Physical Card Orders
3.1 Cancellation Policy
Cancellations will only be considered if the request is made within 7 days of placing the order. However, cancellation requests may not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to our printing partners and they have initiated the process of printing them, or the product is out for delivery. In such an event, you may choose to reject the product at the doorstep.
We do not accept cancellation requests for customized greeting cards that have been printed. However, refund or replacement can be made if the user establishes that the quality of the product delivered is not good.
If you cancel your order before we begin printing, you will receive a full refund within 7 days to your original payment method.
3.2 Defective or Damaged Products
In case of receipt of damaged or defective items, please report to our customer service team. The request would be entertained once we have checked and determined the same at our end. This should be reported within 7 days of receipt of products.
In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 7 days of receiving the product. The customer service team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.
If you receive a card that is defective, damaged, or significantly different from what was ordered, we will:
- Provide a full refund, or
- Replace the card at no additional cost
3.3 Wrong Address
If an order is shipped to an incorrect address due to an error on our part, we will reship the order to the correct address at no charge. If the error was due to incorrect information provided by you, a refund will not be issued, but you may reorder at your expense.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refund:
- Customized cards that have been printed and shipped
- Credits that have been used for card design creation
- Orders cancelled after printing has begun
- Shipping charges (unless the error was on our part)
5. Refund Processing Time
In case of any refunds approved by us, it will take 7 days for the refund to be processed to you. The refund will be credited to your original payment method. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account depending on your bank or payment provider.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please:
- Contact us through our website contact form
- Provide your order number
- Explain the reason for the refund request
- Include photos if applicable (for damaged/defective products)
7. Return Policy
We offer return / exchange within first 7 days from the date of your purchase. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, you will not be offered a return, exchange or refund of any kind. In order to become eligible for a return or an exchange, (i) the purchased item should be unused and in the same condition as you received it, (ii) the item must have original packaging, (iii) if the item that you purchased on a sale, then the item may not be eligible for a return / exchange. Further, only such items are replaced by us (based on an exchange request), if such items are found defective or damaged.
All the exchanged and replaced products will be delivered within 5-7 business days.
You agree that there may be a certain category of products / items that are exempted from returns or refunds. Such categories of the products would be identified to you at the item of purchase. For exchange / return accepted request(s) (as applicable), once your returned product / item is received and inspected by us, we will send you an email to notify you about receipt of the returned / exchanged product. Further. If the same has been approved after the quality check at our end, your request (i.e. return / exchange) will be processed in accordance with our policies.
7.1 Return Eligibility
You may return products within 7 days of delivery if:
- The product is defective or damaged
- The product received is significantly different from what was ordered
- The product was shipped to the wrong address due to our error
7.2 Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery
- Provide your order number and reason for return
- Include photos if the product is defective or damaged
- Wait for our approval and return instructions
- Ship the product back using the provided return label (if applicable)
7.3 Return Conditions
Products must be returned in their original condition:
- Unused and in original packaging (if applicable)
- All original accessories included
- No damage caused by misuse or mishandling
7.4 Return Shipping
For defective or damaged products, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. For other return requests, return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise specified.
7.5 Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Customized cards that have been printed and shipped (unless defective)
- Credits that have been used for card design creation
- Items damaged due to customer misuse
- Items returned after the 7-day return period
8. Shipping Policy
8.1 Shipping Areas
We currently ship physical greeting cards within India only. We do not ship internationally at this time.
8.2 Shipping Methods
We use reliable shipping partners to deliver your orders. Shipping methods and carriers may vary based on your location and order value.
8.3 Shipping Timeframes
The orders for the user are shipped through registered domestic courier companies and/or speed post only. Orders are delivered within 10 days from the date of the order and/or payment or as per the delivery date agreed at the time of order confirmation and delivering of the shipment, subject to courier company / post office norms. Platform Owner shall not be liable for any delay in delivery by the courier company / postal authority.
Shipping timeframes vary based on your location:
- Metro cities: 3-5 business days after printing
- Tier 2 cities: 5-7 business days after printing
- Other locations: 7-10 business days after printing
Please note: These timeframes are estimates and do not include order processing time (typically 1-2 business days) or printing time (typically 2-3 business days).
8.4 Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order weight. Free shipping may be available for orders above a certain value as part of promotional offers.
8.5 Order Tracking
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email or SMS. You can use this tracking number to monitor your shipment's progress on the carrier's website.
8.6 Delivery Address
Delivery of all orders will be made to the address provided by the buyer at the time of purchase. Delivery of our services will be confirmed on your email ID as specified at the time of registration. Please ensure your delivery address is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses provided by customers. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, reshipping charges will apply.
If there are any shipping cost(s) levied by us (as the case may be), the same is not refundable.
8.7 Delivery Attempts
Our shipping partners will make delivery attempts as per their standard procedures. If delivery is unsuccessful after multiple attempts, the package may be returned to us. In such cases, reshipping charges will apply.
8.8 Delayed or Lost Shipments
If your order is significantly delayed or lost in transit, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue. If the shipment is confirmed lost, we will either reship your order or provide a full refund.
8.9 Shipping Restrictions
We reserve the right to refuse shipping to certain locations or addresses if we determine it is unsafe or impractical to deliver there.
9. Partial Refunds
In some cases, we may issue partial refunds, such as when only part of an order is defective or when a discount was applied to the original order.
